Start your day with a visit to the temple “Wat Plai Laem”, where you can admire the statue of the Chinese goddess Guanyin and the grinning monk Budai, both standing in a picturesque fish pond. The VIP island tour then takes you to the impressive “Big Buddha”, a 12-meter-high Buddha statue on a small offshore island.
Enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of Chaweng, Chaweng Lake and the airport from the pagoda-shaped “Wat Khao Hua Jook”. At the Chaweng viewpoint between Chaweng and Lamai, you have the opportunity to see both beaches from the VIP island tour bird’s eye view.

10:00Wat Plai Laem
The first stop on the Koh Samui island tour is at the temple “Wat Plai Laem”. There are several things to discover in this beautiful temple complex. The temple itself, to the right of it a statue of the Chinese goddess GUANYIN and to the left of it a statue of the grinning monk BUDAI. Both the temple and the statues are embedded in a fish pond and can be accessed via small bridges or footbridges.
10:45Big Buddha
The 12-meter-high Buddha statue is the island’s landmark and can usually be seen when approaching Koh Samui. It is located on a small offshore island, which can also be reached by vehicle via a raised path.
11:30Wat Khao Hua Jook
The pagoda-shaped temple is located on a hill above Chaweng. From here you have a 360° panoramic view. On one side over Chaweng and Chaweng Lake and on the other side over the airport all the way to Koh Phangan.
12:15Chaweng Viewpoint
This interesting viewpoint is between Chaweng and Lamai. From here you have a view of the two beaches of Chaweng and Chaweng Noi.
12:45Stop for swimming at Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay, also known as Silver Beach, has one of the most beautiful beaches in Samui. Here you can relax on the white sand or refresh yourself in the clear sea water.
13:15Lunch
We will stop for lunch where you will be served an authentic Thai meal in a typical local restaurant.

14:45Wat Sila Ngu
We make a short stop at Wat Sila Ngu to take photos of the temple. The interesting thing about this temple is its design, as the temple walls and the figures formed in them are all made of terracotta… And our Koh Samui island tour continues.
15:15monk mummy
This famous mummy of the monk Luang Por Dang is located in the temple “Wat Kunaram”. The monk died in 1973 and has not decayed since then, although he was not preserved in any way. He is in a remarkably preserved condition. Only the empty eye sockets are unsightly and have therefore been covered by dark sunglasses.
15:45Na Muang Waterfall 1
The Na Muang Waterfall 1 falls from a height of 18.5 meters into a natural pool below. If you feel like it, you can also take a quick swim in this pool.
16:30Transfer back to the hotel
After the last stop at the waterfall we will take you back to your hotel.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Tag mit dieser privaten Tour, bei der wir mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern Samui erkundet haben. Wir hatten die Route bereits im Vorfeld besprochen und wurden von einem Guide begleitet, der sehr nett zu unseren Kindern war.
Wir haben den Overlap Stone besichtigt, was ein echtes Abenteuer war, aber wir haben uns mit unserem Fahrer jederzeit sicher gefühlt.
Außerdem haben wir eine Kokosnussfarm, einen Wasserfall und einen Tempel gesehen.
Unsere Kinder haben den Tag sehr genossen.
