The Koh Phangan Sailing Excursion is a day tour on a traditional sailing junk. The excursion goes around Koh Samui’s neighboring island of Koh Phangan. You will see the beautiful beaches and natural coastal landscape of Koh Phangan. The first stop on this tour is the small island of Koh Ma. Here you will have the opportunity to snorkel and see corals, numerous sea anemones and many species of tropical fish. The second stop is at Thong Nai Pan Beach. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. Here you can relax with a cocktail, enjoy a beach massage, or go jet-skiing. Finally, drive back to Samui along the rugged east coast. Another excursion in Samui where you can see the sunset from the boat at the end of the excursion.
Your accommodation on Samui
10:00 am – 10:45 am
(depending on your accommodation location)
Upon arrival at the pier, you will be greeted by the crew and escorted onto the boat. Afterwards the boat departs and sails towards Koh Phangan.
As you cruise along the coast, you will receive a delicious lunch buffet on board consisting of 5 different Thai dishes.
after lunch, the ship anchors in front of the Koh Ma reef. This is one of the few snorkeling spots that is still untouched by mass tourism. Thus the corals are intact and you will see some interesting sea plants as well as numerous fish.
after staying at Koh Ma, the boat travels along the north coast to the beach of Thong Nai Pan in the north-east of the island. Here you will be taken to the beach in the dinghies and have time to relax or do some activities.
around 17:00 you start from Thong Nai Pan back towards Koh Samui. The ship sails along the rugged east coast and reaches the open sea between Phangan and Samui at sunset time.
after returning at Bang Rak Pier, you will disembark the ship and be transferred back to your accommodation.
Wir hatten einen super schönen Ausflug auf der Chantara. Das ganze Team war super freundlich. Unser Guide war ebenfalls super nett und witzig.
Unser persönliches Highlight war der erste stop wo wir uns fürs Schnorcheln entschieden (alternativ konnte vom Boot aus geangelt werden). Es war einfach wundervoll.
Das Mittagessen war sehr gut und man wurde durchgehend mit kleinen snacks und Getränken versorgt.
Wir würden den Ausflug jederzeit wieder buchen.
