At the ECO Jungle Safari, the focus is on the local lifestyle of the islanders and getting to know the hinterland. Among other things, you will visit the mountain farmers of Koh Samui. You’ll learn which types of fruit are grown locally on Koh Samui – all this is paired with visiting interesting sights and some activities, such as swimming at the waterfalls.
There are no animal shows or elephant rides on this Samui eco-safari.

here you will see a whimsical rock formation created by nature. This is reminiscent of the male and female genitals. There are several shops on the way from the parking lot to the rock plateau. Here the dealers offer coconut caramel, among other things. You won’t find this local specialty anywhere else on the island.
The Na Muang Waterfall 1 is one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island and falls from a height of 18.5 meters into a natural pool below. Here you will also have some time for swimming
In the Khunaram Temple you can see the mummy of a real monk. Interesting here is that the monk was not preserved in any way, but has dried out internally and is therefore not decomposed. Por Lung Daeng, as the monk was called, spent much of his life meditating. With a premonition he left the option in his will that he would like to be preserved for posterity should he not decompose.
After visiting the mummy, we head up into the mountains. Here you will receive a typical Thai set menu consisting of different dishes in a restaurant with a view of the island from above. A bottle of water is provided with lunch, but other drinks are available for a fee.
The Magic Garden is located in the middle of the jungle and at an altitude of 600 meters. Here Tar Nim (Uncle Nim), at the age of 77, has created a hidden oasis with many Buddhist figures and lots of small details. Until his death, he worked on it for 14 years and thus built his own monument. This idyllic spot is in a valley with a small waterfall and a stream running through this statue garden.
on the off-road drive through the island’s hinterland you will visit the mountain farmers and their fruit and rubber tree plantations. Here you will learn about the cultivation of the local fruits.
back from the mountains we go via Maenam and Bophut to the Big Buddha, the symbol of the island. From the platform of the Big Buddha you can enjoy a great view of the Bay of Bang Rak with its many boats, the offshore island of Koh Som and the neighboring island of Koh Phangan.
The Big Buddha is the last stop of the tour. After visiting this temple complex, you will be taken back to your accommodation
